We stayed a week in August 2013 as a family of 5 and enjoyed every minute. Accommodation was a short stroll to the beautiful Livadi beach with crystal clear warm water. The area is full of friendly locals and lovely Taverna’s including a handy mini-market where you could get lots of Greek delights to take back to your room and enjoy on the balcony.

Rooms were spotlessly clean and had a beautiful balcony where you could sit and soak in the atmosphere. Seeing the beautiful Chora and castle twinkling at night was a highlight. Staff were friendly and very accommodating and very willing to help with anything you needed – management were very knowledgeable about the Island’s history and willing to share their love of it. The island itself is very beautiful and so relaxing – it was a lovely authentic “Greek” experience and a refreshing change from the Cycladic islands we had previously visited.

What stood out as a highlight was the beautiful hospitality of our hosts who were attentive but not too obtrusive and always ready to accommodate us.

We would definitely stay again!
